Custom engraving is an optional feature offered for the Ellipse® Series keypad membranes, Compli® and Heatsink Screwless faceplates. This feature allows the user to identify each button on the master control station, as well as each opening on the faceplate, for ease of use and to add beauty and functionality to each room.
All custom engraving is optional and should be ordered separately. Contact your distributor for more information.
Precise Laser-Engraving Process
Each button and/or faceplate is engraved with exacting detail, using indelible, grey ink that is applied by a high-speed laser engraving machine.

How To Order:
Please follow the steps below to order your custom engraved keypad membrane or faceplate. For questions concerning the custom engraving process, please contact our Customer Service department at 1-800-526-2731 or email us at engraving_orders@genlytecontrols.com.
- Place order with your electrical distributor for required membrane/faceplate.
- Lightolier Controls will supply a registration number to the electrical distributor.
- Use your registration number as your password to access your specific order.
- Complete necessary information and text locations.
- Print a copy and have customer approve. Keep approval for reference.
- Once approved, click on "Submit Order".
Typical delivery time is two weeks for Keypads and Compli 4-gang & smaller faceplates. Typical delivery for all Heatsink and Compli 5-gang & larger faceplates is four weeks.
All orders will be shipped to the "ship to" address on the submitted (processed) purchase order. If a different ship to address is required, please contact Lightolier Controls customer service immediately (before submitting your engraving) at 1.800.526.2731 or customerservice@genlytecontrols.com.
